Katie Ruff opened By the Spoonful here in McGregor, Iowa in May of 2013 after seven years working for a large Midwest supermarket chain. Katie was ready to back home to NE Iowa and McGregor where friends and family are at and were the people are genuine .  

BTS offers a large selection of  meats from Edgewood Locker,  local wines, and take & bake meals made here in-house

Now after 5 years BTS will start offering cooking classes on site, a full service espresso bar with a full menu.
